Activists and human rights activists held a Zoom conference to see if 100 or more participants could be simultaneously connected to a Zoom video conference.

On 14 August 2021, activists and human rights activists held a Zoom conference to see if 100 or more participants could be simultaneously connected to a Zoom video conference. We recorded publicly that it was possible. There were 73 people connected to the conference! There was good quality and audibility.

Thus, we have exposed the authorities proving that it is possible to connect a large number of participants (observers) in Zoom, but the authorities do not allow all the activists wishing to observe the trial to participate in a hearing, referring to the “poor quality” and limited capacity of Zoom, selectively allowing admission of only a small number of observers.

This only further proves that the activists are being prosecuted in trumped-up politically motivated cases.
